Quinoa is actually a seed that is classified as a whole grain.  Just one cup of cooked quinoa offers 5 grams of fibre.  Need another perk to these muffins?  Quinoa is also a naturally gluten-free food.  Now you can see why these will be your new go-to breakfast food.

Make-Ahead Egg and Cheese Sandwich

Holidays often bring large dinners with many friends and family.  With all the cooking to be done, who wants to cook a breakfast too?  These Make-Ahead Egg and Cheese Sandwiches are a perfect solution.  They also fill the need to for a day-to-day quick go-to.  Note: always remove aluminum foil before putting in the microwave.

Follow the recipe exactly, choose your own favorite ingredients, or allow everyone to make their own.  Follow the directions at the bottom of the recipe.  Storage and reheating are the key to making these a success.

Write the ingredients on the outside of each sandwich if you create a variety.  Before storing for one month, do not forget to write a date on the outside.

Good Housekeeping shares this Make-Ahead Sausage and Egg Casserole by Tiffani Thiessen.   Her best-selling book, Pull Up a Chair: Recipes from My Family to Yours, brings us this hearty make-ahead recipe.

Weekend mornings, family get-togethers, pot-luck gatherings or any other day, this recipe meets the need.  Very popular during those holiday mornings.  With a day ahead of cooking and prep for dinner, a quick breakfast is just what the chef needs.

With a little prep the night before, this hearty breakfast is ready after 40 – 45 minutes of baking.  Can’t wait until tomorrow? Are you feeling like this would make a delicious dinner? Bake without refrigerating and enjoy immediately.

This dish will create 6 servings at just 480 calories each.  Good Housekeeping shares that it has 32 grams of fat and 24 grams of protein per serving.

Another easy make-ahead to enjoy all year long.  Mornings can be a hard time to make a quality meal.  We are more likely to grab something to heat quickly than pull out the pans and cooking utensils before starting our day.

Good Housekeeping brings us the make-ahead Breakfast Burritos. This flavor packed recipe will kick start any day.  One evening get everyone involved in creating these.  Wrap in aluminum foil and freeze.

Pop them in the microwave after removing the foil and you have a warm and zesty breakfast.  Enjoy it with your favorite morning beverage or eat on-the-go.

French Toast Casserole

French Toast Casserole is a hit with everyone, for many reasons.  You make the casserole and others choose the toppings.  Bring along a variety of syrups like maple, blueberry or pumpkin spice.
