It can be difficult to plan a healthy and flavorful dinner without a pile of dishes to do afterwards. This twist on a popular salad is not officially a one-dish meal but well worth the second pan. The perk comes in when you have time to prepare the reduction while the main meal is in the oven. A recipe that has good time management is a perk on any week night.

Sheet Pan Caprese Chicken is bursting with flavor with just eight ingredients. Baby arugula and bread are suggested options to serve it with. Don’t limit yourself to just those. The options are only set by your imagination! Maybe add some pasta or a salad. Don’t forget to keep the clean-up easy though.

It cannot get much more simple than a foil pan you toss out after cooking. This recipe calls for a mini food processor as its only dish for prep or cooking.

Directions do call for a grill but you can adjust this to what you have available. Maybe an oven or a small convection oven. Just keep an eye on it so not to dry out your salmon. Cooking outside is nice if you don’t care for the fish odor in your home.

You may want a sweet sausage, turkey sausage, bratwurst or one of many other options. Now decide what vegetables you prefer. Maybe bell peppers work better for you. Make it uniquely yours so this will be a go-to dish on those busy nights.
